Hello my sweets. 🍬
Lately, it seems as if most of you have been struggling with fear. This pervasive sense of fear can manifest in various forms, including the fear of rejection, the fear of abandonment, the fear of loneliness, and the insecurities that often stem from these fears. It is essential to recognize that fear is not merely an emotional response; it is often the root of 90 percent of our troubles. This powerful emotion can deter us from forming meaningful relationships, including our most important relationship—our relationship with Christ, which is fundamentally supposed to be built on faith and trust. When we allow fear to take hold, it can create barriers that prevent us from experiencing the fullness of love and connection that God desires for us. All of your relationships, whether with others or with yourself, should ideally be built on a foundation of faith. These fears that we experience indicate that our foundation may not be as firm as it appears on the surface. God is revealing to us that our foundation in Him needs to be solid and unwavering. If you find yourself grappling with the fear of rejection, remember that God has told you many times in His word that the world rejected Him, and therefore, they will also reject you. In 2 Corinthians 10:5, it states that we should take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ. This means that we have the power to control our thoughts and align them with God's truth. We make our thoughts obey Christ by actively applying His word to our daily lives. When we encounter a thought that does not align with His word, we must be diligent in discarding it, throwing it in the trash where it belongs. Conversely, if we have a thought that aligns with His word, we should cherish it and place it in our treasure chest of truths. Memorizing scriptures and applying them to our lives is crucial so that we do not allow any opportunities for fear to lead us away from God's word and will. It is important to remember that while God is an opportunist for our good, Satan is also lurking, seeking opportunities to sow doubt and fear into our hearts. However, God does allow Satan to do certain things to further our growth and development within Christ. Therefore, always stay encouraged, my dear friends. Never let feelings of rejection, abandonment, loneliness, and insecurities dictate your path. Allowing the fear of rejection to take root in your heart signifies that you may have cracks in your foundation or that your foundation is built on sand. When the winds of life blow, sand shifts and can easily be swept away. We cannot afford to be sand shifters! These are methods and mindsets that the world promotes—trendsetters that constantly change and shift with the times. Our foundation should be firmly established on Christ and His teachings, which are unchanging and eternal. Consistently applying His teachings to your life will lead you to freedom from fear and insecurity. When you do find yourself grappling with fear of rejection, abandonment, loneliness, and insecurities, it is vital to surrender to God's teachings rather than to your fleeting feelings. Surrender to the rock, which is Christ, and not to your emotions. Surrender to His word, which is truth, and not to the chaos of your feelings. The world often encourages us to dwell on our emotions, but if we immerse ourselves in our feelings for too long, we risk missing the precious opportunity to be in God's presence. God's presence is found in the present moment, which is a true gift to us. It is where we can experience peace, love, and the assurance that we are not alone. So, stay encouraged, my dear friends! Remember that you are loved deeply, and that love transcends all fears. Love you all!
