Hello my loves,

“The Lord will put you through hard times but He himself will be there to teach you and you will not have to search for Him anymore.” Isaiah 30:20.

In this life, we all suffer in various ways, and while suffering is an inevitable part of the human experience, our perception of the narrative surrounding that suffering plays a crucial role in shaping our reality. Are we viewing this suffering as a permanent state that will never change, or are we embracing the understanding that this suffering is merely a transient phase, a season that will eventually pass? This perspective is vital because if we acknowledge that Christ Himself endured suffering, we must also accept that we, as His followers, will inevitably face our own trials and tribulations. However, it is essential to remember that Christ was fully aware that this life is filled with temporary sufferings, and He faced them with the knowledge that He was ultimately seeking eternal life—a life beyond our current struggles. He sought not only to endure these hardships but also to inspire His followers, His sheep, to seek that same eternal life, encouraging them to look beyond their present circumstances.

For Christ understood that this earthly existence is fundamentally about creating and nurturing healthy, meaningful relationships with both God and one another, as this was part of God’s original design for humanity. The most important relationship we can cultivate is undoubtedly our connection with the Father. In times of suffering, it is imperative that we turn to the Father first and foremost, for He is intimately aware of our struggles and the challenges we face. He allows these trials to occur not out of cruelty, but rather as a means to help us realign with our original identity in Him. Through these experiences, He seeks to strengthen our faith, to magnify His name, and to instill within us a deeper, more fervent desire to seek Him out.

Even though our Father is omniscient, possessing complete knowledge of all things, He still yearns for us to approach Him during our times of suffering. He desires a relationship with each of us, one that is built on trust, communication, and love. He is eager to teach and guide us through our trials, offering wisdom and comfort when we feel lost or overwhelmed. If we already have an established relationship with the Father, He promises that He will be there for us, providing the answers we seek without us having to embark on an exhaustive search. With God by our side, the impossible becomes possible! Such a glorious and magnificent God we serve! We are filled with gratitude as we acknowledge the depth of His love and the purpose He has instilled in our lives. Thank you, Father, for creating us for Your glory and for being the author of our unique stories! Thank you, Father, for Your unwavering goodness and for the desire You have to maintain a relationship with us! Thank you for Your everlasting love that surrounds us and sustains us through every trial! Thank you for being a versatile God, one who adapts and meets us in our specific needs. In Jesus' name, we say Amen.
