“Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.”
Ecclesiastes 3:11 NLT
Trusting in God in every situation is NOT always an easy feat. There are moments in life that challenge our faith and test our ability to surrender our worries and fears to Him. I’ve been doing pretty well with it except with one particular situation which is relationships. This challenge arises simply because I truly understand the immense importance of relationships in our lives. Relationships are not merely social constructs; they transcend from the physical realm into the spiritual realm, impacting our very existence. Our time on this earth is relatively short, and I want to ensure that I spend every precious millisecond with those I love and cherish. The connections we forge with others are what make life meaningful, and it is natural to want to nurture and protect those bonds. However, I must remember that God transcends time, space, and the earth itself. He is the Creator of all that exists, and as such, He is in full control of everything because He created it all. He is everything! So why not trust Him with everything? He is inherently good and desires what is best for us! He knows each and every single one of our hearts intimately. He understands when we are ready for something and when we are not, guiding us through the complexities of life.
He is omnipotent, which means He possesses complete and unlimited knowledge! He knows your past in its entirety, so try not to dwell on it, as doing so can lead to feelings of regret and sadness. He also knows your future, holding it in His hands. Dwelling on the past often leads to a state of depression, while fixating on the future can spiral into anxiety! Therefore, we must learn to dwell in the present, which is where we will actively seek Him and find His presence. We must trust in God's perfect timing, as He orchestrates events in our lives for our ultimate good. Father, we thank you so much for your goodness and grace. Thank you for being in control over our lives and for the intricate plan You have for each of us! Thank you for creating us for Your glory and purpose! May you continue to move us to trust you more deeply and fully, for trusting you is truly freeing. Thank you for your provision, insight, faithfulness, and hope. Thank you for being our everything, our guide, and our refuge. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
